Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde has prepared a pre recorded workshop on a song from the Gaeilge singing tradition, also called the sean-nós tradition. He has chosen a song called Máire Nic Ailpín, which was collected by Edward Bunting at the Belfast Harp Festival in 1792. The song was composed by Tomás Ó Conaolán, a harpist/composer/singer from Co. Sligo around the middle of the 17th Century.

Beidh ceardlann ag Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde ar amhrán ón amhránaíocht thraidisiúnta Ghaelach, a dtugtar traidisiún an tseannóis uirthi chomh maith. Tá amhrán dar teideal Máire Nic Ailpín roghnaithe aige, a bhailigh Edward Bunting ag Féile Chláirsí Bhéal Feirste in 1792. Bhí an t-amhrán arna chumadh ag Tomás Ó Conaolán, cláirseoir/cumadóir/amhránaí ó Chontae Shligigh thart ar lár an 17ú céad. Tabhair cuairt ar feilebelfast.com le do thoil chun roinnt cáipéisí atá leis an cheardlann a uaslódáil sula namharcfaidh tú ar an cheardlann seo.
